How we operate

We strictly adhere to the guidelines and best practices set down by the regulatory bodies, including the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) and the RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code)

The RECC forms the basis for our terms and conditions of business.

We recommend that customers read the RECC, and a link is provided at the foot of this page.

If you have decided to proceed with us, we arrange for a third-party company (Apex) to visit and carry out a further survey. Effectively, our advice, calculations etc are double checked. What we like to call Belt and Braces!

Here are the stages in the process to ordering your heat pump installation

Step 1 One of our Heat Pump Partners will visit your home to complete a brief survey, which they can instantly upload to the office from their phone or tablet. This will enable us to assess what advice we will offer you next.

Step 2 Assuming we think a heat pump is right for you, we’ll be back in touch to furnish you with recommendations and a quotation. We’ll then leave that quotation with you for your consideration.

Step 3 If you decide you want to proceed, you can confirm your order online, using the order methodology and trading terms preferred by the RECC.

Step 4 Upon receipt of your order confirmation, your 14 day cooling off period commences.

Step 5 If you’re still happy to go ahead, we’ll get the ball rolling. We’ll arrange for an Apex survey to be carried out, get the BUS grant application moving and apply for all necessary permissions for the job to go ahead.

Step 6 Once all the formalities are completed, we will firm up installation dates with you. Typical installations take anywhere between 2 to 5 days, however when we designed your installation, we will have been able to reasonably accurately estimate installation timescales and indicate this to you.

Step 7 Upon completion of the installation, we furnish you with all of the Handover documents, such as warranty paperwork and certification.
